About

Eagle Rock Community Church is a warm community church in the northeast area of Los Angeles, California. Our members come from Eagle Rock, as well as nearby Highland Park, Pasadena and Glendale. We have people of all ages, and we’re a smaller church. Our roots are in the Covenant denomination, which basically means that we believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and we are open about specific doctrines like baptism and Holy Communion. We seek to live our faith in practical ways. We are all at different places in our spiritual journey, and we recognize that we are all broken in some ways. We want to learn, to grow in our faith, and to overcome our personal challenges, so we can better reflect Jesus to those around us. Statement of Purpose and Mission

As a dynamic church, which is mindful of its heritage and its call to ministry, we continue to look forward with great anticipation to even greater opportunities in the coming years to fulfill this awesome responsibility. We continue to provide respite for the lost, the sick and the hurting. We are motivated by God’s Love, and empowered by His Holy Spirit, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, and coming again. We desire to make Disciples of Christ by:

• Worshiping God, in our lives, our prayers, our songs, our words, our actions, and our endeavors.
• Winning souls, for Christ, in our neighborhoods, in our community, and in the world.
• Meeting needs, of those in our church fellowship and in our community.
• Nurturing believers, towards Spiritual maturity.
• Equipping Christians, to do the work of the ministry.
